Black Copper Marans Cross Day Old Chicks

We have our first Black Copper Marans Cross day old chicks now available.  This hardy bird is great for winter conditions and lays a dark green olive egg. Occasionally the egg is more brow.

These specific black Copper Marans Cross Day old chicks hatched on May 22, 2024.

This is our second Graywhale Farms hybrid. The Black Copper Marans Cross is an f1 generation pure bred Pavolskya and Creme Legbar.  The f2 Generation is made with our Black Copper Marans Pet Rooster. He’s a super friendly Rooster.

All breeding chickens were hatched at our farm from our own hatching eggs that we produce in either Denmark, WI or Sturgeon Bay WI.  Origination of this species is through Greenfire Farms.
